The Florida Governor has mandated that all dental healthcare facilities treat emergency patients only until May 8th. This date is subject to change.
At the height of a public health emergency when social distancing has been ordered at all levels of government and recommended by the ADA,continuing “business as usual,” even with personal protective equipment (PPE) would be irresponsible and unethical.
Patients, providers and the public would all be put at greater risk by not adhering to efforts to “flatten the curve.”
Dentists, like other health care professionals are obligated to put the interests of patients and the community as their primary concern.
With the dwindling supplies of personal protective equipment and having a practice which is not oriented toward emergency care we will have to shut down until this crisis is over.
Please check our Facebook page, answering machine, and website for notices as to when we will reopen.
We thank you all for your loyalty and allowing us to service your dental needs.
