The Best Dentist in the Keys

Whitney is the best. She explains everything she is doing and lets you ask questions if needed. I hated going to the dentist before but now I see her every 4 months.

The hygienist was great with my 7 ear old and the prices were reasonable, considering I pay out of pocket for his dental care.

This group is wonderful. Everyone there is so pleasant and I love that they keep up with the most modern equipment out there. At My most recent check-up, they didn’t have to use that scrapping tool for the plaque, they had some nifty new gadget that did it with high-pressure water. SO MUCH nicer than that other tool! Definitely recommend them if you’re looking for a new dentist!

Summerland Dental saved the day for me. I had a crown come off so I contacted them to see if they could help me. They got me in the same day and took care of getting the crown set back on. I couldn’t be happier with the results.

They have an advanced cleaning tool. That and the wonderful hygienists make for a thorough yet painless cleaning. Johanna at the front desk helps navigate you through the insurance. All around positive experience.

I was very impressed. I just had to have a cracked tooth removed. They numbed me up. Felt pressure and then Dr said all done. I asked “what no drilling”. Then out the door I went. They ALL were super nice. Their knowledge and updated equipment makes it easy. I will be back sooner. Piece of cake.

I have a complicated history of jaw surgeries, dental implants, bone/gum grafting, and as a result, I am a little “scarred” from going to the dentist so often growing up. I am biased about this Doctor and staff. This office is a caring and competent office. They are ALWAYS polite and will work with you in any way they can. I got sick in 2019 and had to move away. Part of my treatment, I was told that my teeth were going to crack and crumble. I was devastated. I have always taken excellent care of my teeth but it was either this treatment or death in all honesty. From 2019 until yesterday, I had one front tooth gone the other one totally cracked and half of a bottom molar gone. The pandemic helped me by having to wear a mask but I was determined to get my teeth fixed. I had to move from Key West but I could not imagine going to anybody other than Dr Tycoliz. Finally, yesterday, after traveling a few times, I received temps on those teeth with crowns coming in a month. I still need a couple more crowns but I can finally smile again. Choose this office, you won't regret it.

Admitted at appointment time (no waiting), I have sensitive gums so I appreciate the hygienist’s agile and deft hands giving a thorough; but, gentle cleaning.

I came back from Ireland with a massive tooth ache. I walked in. They examined my tooth. Gave my a quick date. Went in today. The dental assistant was amazing. Treated me like she knew me. I’ve never been there before. The Dr. William Tycoliz was awesome. I told him the last dentist that touched me hurt me so bad I was scared. He numbed my gums. Pulled my tooth and did a grafting within 20 mins. 8 hours later I am writing thing this. Amazing procedure. Everyone was very professional. Much appreciated Thank u to your whole staff. 😉 Big happy claps to a tooth that was unbearable before

My last denture adjustment was fantastic! I was very depressed. I was slobbering drooling.. and quite unhappy! The doctor adjusted my denture, and the results are unbelievable. No slobbering no drooling no denture glue. I still don’t believe the results Were so fantastic! Phil McGann

I’ve been to Summerland dental many times and the service is the best I’ve had . And I’ve been to many places. They have always made an opening in emergency situations. The only complaint I had on my visit was the cost. The procedure.of gluing.a crown in that fell out. I took about 20 min and cost $316.00. For people who live in keys it difficult to come up with that much money. I guess with all the overhead that’s just how it is. Other than that I give 5 stares.

Arriving much earlier than my scheduled appointment, I didn't mind waiting. In fact, I expected it and was prepared to. Sitting in the outer office for a short period of time, the staff kept me updated. To my surprise, I was taken back in to the procedure area much sooner than anticipated. Being, short staffed that day, the procedure was comfortable and not at all rushed. Both the staff were extraordinarily gracious, and thorough. Dr. T. and everyone in his office are true professionals. I had a dental emergency while stsying on LTK. I called, they got me an appt. quickly. My problem was somewhat complicated as it involved a dental implant, but Dr. T was thorough and explained all my options clearly. I asked for a 3D x ray (something suggested by my dentist back in NY) and was told by both the Doctor and his assistant that it was expensive and better to have one right before any further work. The new method of teeth cleaning(biofilm therapy) that they are doing is wonderful. It is much faster and easier on your teeth and helps you actually see where you need to do a better job brushing and flossing.

Best dentist and staff I've ever been to my 67 years

I was absolutely terrified walking into the office for an extraction, especially since it's the first time using this office. I was nearly unconsolable, but everyone did their best to put me at ease and make me comfortable. The entire staff was kind, gentle, and didn't make me feel foolish for my fears of dental work. I will definitely be returning for any future dental needs!

Dr Tycoliz and his staff (especially Jen) are truly wonderful people. Not only do they provide exceptional service and not try to "upsell" me on services that I don't need (a rarity nowadays IMO) they've also taught me how to unlearn certain habits that had negatively affected my dental health. Did you know that you don't need to rinse/wash out your mouth out with water after brushing your teeth? Just spit out the remaining amount and leave as is. By doing that, and by angling my toothbrush in a certain way when brushing, I was able to avoid the usual plaque build up I've always had my entire adult life. These folks are true gems, and as I type this...yes, I do feel a bit insane to give such a raving review for a day-to-day health practitioner (I mean, they didnt save me from a burning building or prevent a life threatening injury)... they are simply just folks who do their jobs and are GREAT at it.

Great experience from start to finish. The front office staff was thorough and quite efficient. As a new patient, she assisted me with the registration process. X-ray was an easy process and the staff member patiently explained everything to me. The hygienist allayed my anxiety and also patiently explained the cleaning process step by step. Overall great experience and I hope to continue as a patient there for many years to come.

Dr. Tycoliz took care of my teeth in middle school and high school. He did a fantastic job and my current dentist often compliments his fillings.
